What is JetSpinner?
A free online article spinner.
The Facts
To use JetSpinner for the first time, you have to sign up with user name, password, etc., and then hit the "start spinning" button. So immediately it seemed simple and hassle-free. But upon hitting that button you are brought to a sales screen offering their paid product called JetSubmitter. This product says it will do all the directory submissions for you of all the spun articles you have created using JetSpinner. If you are not interested in JetSubmitter you'll have to slog through this sales pitch page and locate the fine print link at the bottom of the page saying "no thanks" in order to decline the offer.
So after a few more tries you think you'll get to the actual content spinner. However, when the "start spinning" button is clicked again, another halting popup screen appears asking for the names of 3 friends who can be told about JetSpinner. It also says you will receive a "secret gift" if I do this. Once again, I scroll to the bottom of the screen to find the "no thanks" link. Still, the Jet Spinner is not yet ready to be demo'd.
Another long screen appears asking for all your personal information, and it's really personal info you wouldn't give out to anybody except your family. Luckily the only required fields are first name and email address. Then, you hit the "save settings" button and what happens? You guessed it. You still can not try this free spinner. Now it says before you can access JetSpinner you have to check your email and follow the instructions.
When you check your email you are reminded of the user name and password you chose. There is also a link to the login page which when clicked does not bring you the login page. You land on the JetSubmitter upgrade page which is another attempt on their part to sell you their premium product. There happens to be another "login" button on this page. After entering your name and password once again, you finally get to the actual JetSpinner aricle spinning tool. So let's take it for a test run...
The page has several boxes for content which correspond to typical article submission websites, i.e., Title Box, Summary, Article, and Resource box. That's handy. But that's where the handiness ends. JetSpinner has no synonym thesaurus...you have to come up with all the synonyms, phrases, and sentences. Not only that, but you have to enter all these according to a specific syntax (directly after the word you want to change you manually have to enter your synonyms within brackets and with a verticle line between choices). Nothing automatic here and lots of time consumed with all these extra keystrokes. IF you have the time and IF you have all the syntax correct, you CAN generate your spun articles. But to be honest, the effort and energy was not there to go any further.

For a free application, Jetspinner is very decent. It can deliver fairly good spun articles especially if you are just interested in getting back links from article directories. However, do not expect too much from the software. It cannot produce Pulitzer quality articles.
